It's part of the concept for Sushi Suite, a new restaurant coming to the the city's Fishtown neighborhood.
For $185 per person, eight guests will enjoy 17 courses of sushi, chef's choice.
The small omakase room can be found behind the currently operating Izakaya Fishtown on the 1800 block of Frankford Avenue.
Action News got a first look inside the intimate space, which opens on October 5.

Now with Sushi Suite, the luxurious new omakase located inside the back of Izakaya Fishtown (1832 Frankford Avenue), sushi maximalism in the region is undeniable.

Opening next week will be Sushi Suite, one of two concepts from New York’s SimpleVenue on its way to Philadelphia. SimpleVenue sets up restaurants inside underutilized spaces, which helps on the rent. Sushi Suite, which debuted in 2019 in a Times Square hotel room, is coming to the former Omakase by Yanaga at 1832 Frankford Ave. in Fishtown.
